Antalya Airport to Titreyengöl taxi transfer
Titreyengöl is the quiet resort east of Sorgun where a freshwater lake lies just behind the beach. It is one of the longer drives on the Side coast, at a little over an hour, but costs the same as Side.

A lake on one side, the sea on the other
The name translates roughly as “the trembling lake”, after the small lake that gives the place its character. It sits a short distance back from the shore, held apart from the Mediterranean by a band of dunes, and the hotels are arranged along the strip between the two. From some rooms you look out over still fresh water at breakfast and over the open sea from the sunbed an hour later.
Titreyengöl has no old town and very little nightlife of its own. That is precisely why people book it: big hotels with space around them, a long beach, and evenings that end in quiet rather than with music from a bar. When you want more, Side and Manavgat are both close by car.
Titreyengöl or Sorgun: what is the difference?
- Setting — Sorgun’s hotels stand among pine trees; Titreyengöl’s are more open, between the lake and the dunes.
- Distance to Side — Sorgun is next to the old town’s east beach; Titreyengöl is a few kilometres further east, too far for most people to walk comfortably.
- From the airport — about one kilometre further for Titreyengöl, which makes no real difference to the drive time and none at all to the €50 fare.
- The road in — the same: off the D400 at the Side turn, east through the edge of the Sorgun forest, and on to the lake.
Hotel websites and tour operators sometimes file Titreyengöl hotels under “Side” or under “Manavgat”. Either way, the driver goes to the same gate, as long as you give us the hotel’s name.
Arriving: the last part of the drive
The first hour is the D400 coast road from the airport, with Aksu, Serik and the Aspendos junction on the way. After the Side turn, the car swings east before the old town and follows the road out past the Sorgun hotels until the forest ends and the lake comes into view. Every hotel has its own entrance with a barrier; the driver announces you and pulls up at reception.
Compared with a hotel in Side, the extra minutes are all at the very end. The D400 part is identical; it is the slower, smaller road from the Side turn out past the forest that adds a little time. In practice that means about 65 minutes from the terminal on a normal day, and the driver will usually tell you when you are ten minutes away, which is roughly when you leave the main road.
Your return pickup, worked out
The drive back is about 65 minutes. Add the time airlines expect you to be inside the terminal before an international flight, plus Antalya’s security scan at the entrance, and the rule of thumb is to leave Titreyengöl around three and a half hours before departure. Some typical examples:
- Flight at 06:00 — pickup around 02:30
- Flight at 10:00 — pickup around 06:30
- Flight at 14:00 — pickup around 10:30, or 10:10 on a summer Saturday
- Flight at 19:00 — pickup around 15:30
- Flight at 23:00 — pickup around 19:30
Tell us your flight number and we confirm the time with you; if you prefer more slack, we simply come earlier. For pre-dawn pickups, ask reception the night before whether they can prepare a breakfast box to take with you.
Going out from Titreyengöl
The lake itself is the first thing to explore, especially in the cool of early morning when the water is flat and the light is low. For anything more, you will want wheels. Side old town is a short ride west — the car leaves you at the car park by the ancient walls, a few minutes on foot from the harbour and the Temple of Apollo. Manavgat is a similar distance inland, with its riverside, the boat trips down the river to the sea and the Monday market.
Titreyengöl is for people who want quiet nights and easy days — and a phone number for the evenings when they don’t.
We also drive guests from here to the Manavgat waterfall, to Aspendos, to Antalya’s Kaleiçi quarter and east to Alanya. Every trip is priced before you set off, and the driver waits or returns at the time you choose.

Questions people ask us
Does Titreyengöl cost more than Side, being further out?
No. Although it is a few kilometres beyond Side, the Economy van to Titreyengöl is the same €50 per vehicle, for up to four travellers. Seven seats cost €55, the VIP van €60 and the minibus €65.
Is Titreyengöl part of Sorgun?
They are neighbours rather than one place. Sorgun is the pine forest right next to Side; Titreyengöl lies just beyond it to the east, around the lake. The road to both is the same, and so is the fare.
Is there a night surcharge for arrivals in the early hours?
No. The fare confirmed at booking applies at any hour of the day or night, and waiting for a delayed flight is free.
How do we get into Side old town in the evening?
By car: Titreyengöl is several kilometres from the old town, and the road is no fun on foot in the heat or after dark. A short ride takes you to the car park by the ancient walls, and the driver comes back when you message.
What time should the car collect us for our flight home?
Around three and a half hours before an international departure; for a 14:00 flight that means a pickup at about 10:30. On summer Saturdays, be in the lobby twenty minutes earlier than that.
Our hotel is listed as Manavgat, not Titreyengöl. Does that change anything?
No. Titreyengöl belongs to the Manavgat district, so both names are used. Send us the hotel name and the driver goes straight to its gate.
One message is enough
