Antalya Airport to Evrenseki taxi

If you laid the Side coast out like a ruler, Evrenseki would be somewhere in the middle of the western half. Çolaklı lies to the west, nearer the airport; Kumköy and the ancient city lie to the east, a short drive away. The name belongs to the village behind the beach, which still feels like a village once you are away from the sand. The resort part is a row of hotels along the shore, most of them large, all-inclusive and set in generous gardens.

• Antalya Airport — about 60 km, normally 55 minutes
• Side old town — a short drive east, around ten to fifteen minutes
• Manavgat town — a little further, past the Side turn
• Aspendos theatre — back west and inland, roughly twenty minutes

That position suits people who want the beach first and sightseeing second: close enough to Side for an evening, far enough away to be quiet when the day is done.

Because so many Evrenseki guests are families, travelling with children deserves its own section. A few things to know before you land:

1. 1Tell us the agesBaby seats, child seats and booster cushions are free. With the children’s ages we can fit the right ones before the car leaves for the airport, so nobody waits in the car park while a seat is adjusted.
2. 2Bring the pushchairPushchairs, travel cots and the extra bag of nappies travel at no charge. If you have twins or two pushchairs plus big suitcases, mention it; a Standard van with seven seats gives everything room.
3. 3Sleep if you canFifty-five minutes on the D400 is long enough for a nap. On a late-night landing, many children are asleep before the car passes Serik.
4. 4Step out at receptionThe driver drives in through the hotel barrier to the main entrance, so tired children are carried a few metres, not across a car park.

The drive follows the D400 east past Aksu, the Belek turn-off, Serik and the junction for Aspendos, then through the Çolaklı stretch. A few minutes later the car leaves the main road for a short run down towards the sea and along the line of hotels to your gate. There are no long side roads or forest tracks here; once off the D400, it is a matter of minutes.

From Evrenseki the airport is just under an hour away. For an international flight, a pickup about three hours before departure gives enough margin for the drive, the security check at the terminal door, check-in and passport control. If you are flying on a summer Saturday, when the coast changes over its guests, make it three hours and twenty minutes. Families with small children often prefer to add a little more, for the inevitable last-minute nappy change.

You do not have to book the return at the same time as the arrival. Many guests send us a message a few days into the holiday, once they know their final plans; we answer around the clock and confirm a time and the price. Cancelling or moving it is free, whenever you tell us.

Evrenseki’s beach is the main attraction, but most families do one or two outings. The obvious one is Side old town in the evening: a short ride to the car park by the ancient walls, a little road train down to the harbour for small legs, ice cream by the water and the Temple of Apollo at sunset. Boat trips leave from Side harbour during the day as well.

Inland, Manavgat offers the river boats and the broad, shallow waterfall, which children tend to love for the spray and the noise. Older children and teenagers might prefer rafting in Köprülü Canyon. For all of these, we agree the price before you go, and the driver can wait or collect you later.
